Update: Customization, Enhancement, Preparation for PvP and Other Major Updates

1. Color Customization for the Items

Greetings, Agents. Visual improvements of the items were made on August 31, 2022, in accordance with the Roadmap. While we know these improvements make it easier for the Agents to integrate with their Avaxtars, we’ve made the items more customizable as we think it’s best to allow the Agents to better express themselves on Quantnet. With the next update, you are now able to choose a color that represents you better for your items from a selected group of colors and express yourself more effectively on Quantnet.

  • Note that customizable items include Helmets, Boots, Gloves, Armors & Weapons.
  • Color customization for items costs 4 000 $AVXT Tokens.

2. Preparation for PvP: Item Upgrade

In order for Agents to have enough time and resources to prepare for PvP, we’re launching a feature that will not have any effect in GameFi but will only be effective in PvP: Item Upgrade.

First, to make our calculations more accurate, let’s take a look at how much items will contribute to Avaxtars’ core stats:

  • Common Gears and Weapons give a 5% increase to base stats.
  • Uncommon Gears and Weapons give a 6% increase to base stats.
  • Rare Gears and Weapons give a 8% increase to base stats.
  • Epic Gears and Weapons a 10% increase to base stats.
  • Legend Gears and Weapons give a 12,5% increase to base stats.

An item can be upgraded 10 times. Each upgrade will be shown as +(number of upgrades) in the item detail. In example, an item successfully upgraded 7 times will be denoted as “+7.” Other important details are as follows:

  • For all rarities, the Item Upgrade grants + 0,5% increase to the item’s base increase values.
  • Each Item Upgrade costs 1 500 $AVXT Tokens.
  • Each upgrade level of Item Upgrade has different success rates for the Item Upgrade to succeed. The success rates of the levels are as follows:

  • Unsuccessful upgrade attempts at + 4 and below will cause the item’s upgrade level to drop to zero.
  • Unsuccessful upgrade attempts at + 4 and above will cause the item’s upgrade level to drop to + 4.

Let’s give an example. I have a Legend Weapon +7 which means my Legend Weapon gives a base stat increase of
[Base Increase Rate] + ([Upgrade Amount] * 0.5)
= 12.5 + (7 * 0.5)
= %16.
Now I want to upgrade my Legend Weapon from level 7 to level 8. After paying 1 500 $AVXT Tokens;
==> In case of success, it will upgrade to level 8 and reach 16.5% base stat increase.
==> In case of failure, it drops to level 4 and returns to it’s base stat increase of 14.5%.

NOTICE: Vehicles won’t be upgradeable. However, their boost to base stats are as follows:

  • Common Vehicles give a 5% increase to Speed stats.
  • Uncommon Vehicles give a 10% increase to Speed stats.
  • Rare Vehicles give a 15% increase to Speed stats.
  • Epic Vehicles a 20% increase to Speed stats.
  • Legend Vehicles give a 25% increase to Speed stats.

3. Need More DGCG and UC?

With the new update, the restrictions on using multiple DGCGs and UCs on the same account will be removed. With the new update, users will be able to get any amount of DGCG and UC in the same account and run them simultaneously.

4. Deprecation of Crypto Mandala

As part of the CRYPTO MANDALA & AVAXTARS collaboration, all of the use cases on Avaxtars for Crypto Mandala NFTs and $MNDL Tokens will expire on JANUARY 4, 2023. The Deprecation of Crypto Mandala will include the use case on the Metaverse Slot.

As of January 4, 2023, $MNDL Tokens will not be able to be deposited into AVAXTARS in-game wallets yet it will be available to withdraw from the in-game wallet.

As of January 4, 2023, all $MNDL tokens on the cryptomandala.art website that have not been “Claimed” will be burned.

After January 4, 2023, a balance of 5 MNDL = 1 AVXT will be established in the MNDL/AVXT pool and MNDL Tokens will be exchanged.

5. Introducing Runes

We have a feature that is familiar to Gen1 owners who have used the BoxDrop feature or have opened the Platinum and Titanium Boxes that come with BoxDrop, which can be seen in the “Items” tab but has not been activated yet. While this feature has been referred to as “Skills” until now due to ideas in the “initial planning” stage, we’re renaming it to “Rune” to avoid confusion with other features coming in PvP updates. Let’s see their use cases:

  • Runes are designed to be used in PvP only and will not affect the GameFi Section.
  • Runes can be obtained from Platinum and Titanium Boxes, or by purchasing items that will be available for sale by Avaxtars in the future.
  • Each Gen2 Avaxtar is going to have a total of 5 Rune Slots that will be unlocked at different levels.

First Rune Slot becomes available at Level 15
Second Rune Slot becomes available at Level 30
Third Rune Slot becomes available at Level 40
Fourth Rune Slot becomes available at Level 50
Fifth Rune Slot becomes available at Level 60

  • Runes have 4 different rarity levels, called Basic, Trained, Advanced and Expert, with the effect levels increasing in order.

Basic Rune will give a 5% increase to stat values.
Trained Rune will give a 7% increase to stat values.
Advanced Rune will give a 10% increase to stat values.
Expert Rune will give a 15% increase to stat values.

  • After unlocking a Rune Slot, players will be able to attach a Rune to the available Rune Slot.
  • Runes attached to the Rune Slot will increase the stat value of the Gen2 Avaxtar they were added to the user’s preferred stat value.

In the example; the user first places a Rune in an empty Rune Slot. Let the rarity of the Rune in our example be Expert. On the same screen, the user chooses which stat value the placed Rune will increase. Let’s choose the Hit Points statistic from the Attack, Armor, Hit Points, Speed or Critical Chance statistics. The user confirms the action and the Gen2 Avaxtar with a Rune on it gains a 15% increase to Hit Points stats.

  • Runes can be removed from the Rune Slot and reattached into the same or another Rune Slot.
  • Runes can be obtained from Platinum or Titanium Boxes or they can be obtained by purchasing items put up for sale by Avaxtars.
  • Runes will be available to buy or sell on the Avaxtars Marketplace.
  • Runes will be transferable between accounts.

We aim to enable users to develop different strategies and counter-strategies in PvP mode with the runes being usable in different combinations.

6. Are There Enough Gen2 Avaxtars for Everyone?

Congratulations to those who have taken advantage of Avaxtar Farming until now. We’re now on the verge of major changes so we’re changing the game meta to further increase the value of assets owned by our entire community.

What awaits us?

  • Gen2 Avaxtars will now have a maximum supply cap.
  • Gen2 Avaxtars’ inflation will slow down and then stop completely.
  • $AVXT Token inflation will drop dramatically.
  • Over time, Quantnet will reach saturation point and the maximum number of simultaneous players will have an upper limit.

But how? Let’s examine together a few steps that will take place over time:

6.1. Warm Up Phase

With the “Warm Up Phase,” which will start with the new update and end on January 4, 2023, the inflation of Gen2 Avaxtars and $AVXT Tokens will be reduced in a controlled manner. In the “Warm Up Phase,” we will make the following changes to the fundamentals of the function to generate Gen2 Avaxtars through Gen1 Avaxtars, which we refer to as Avaxtar Farming:

6.1.1. Reducing of acceleration rates for Avaxtar Farming processes.

The first measure to limit Gen2 Avaxtar inflation will be to lower the acceleration rates of PAGMs in the Avaxtar Farming process. This practice will start with the new update and end on January 4, 2023. The details are as follows:

  • The acceleration rates of the PAGMs which are 20%, 40% and 60% will be updated as 5%, 10% and 20% respectively.
  • Acceleration costs will remain unchanged until future “Quarterings.” Post-update acceleration costs will be as follows:
    * 42 $AVXT Tokens or 60 $MNDL Tokens for 5% Acceleration
    * 126 $AVXT Tokens or 180 $MNDL Tokens for 10% Acceleration
    * 316 $AVXT Tokens or 450 $MNDL Tokens for 20% Acceleration
  • The amounts of $AVXT Tokens issued for successful Avaxtar Farming processes and the amount of $DGC Tokens issued for failed Avaxtar Farming processes will remain unchanged until future “Quarterings.”

Note that usage of $MNDL Tokens for acceleration will be discontinued on January 4, 2023.

6.1.2. Introducing $AVXT Token Farming process

The second measure to limit Gen2 Avaxtar inflation will be to offer an alternative earning method to Gen1 Avaxtars used for Gen2 Avaxtar productions. This practice will starting with the new update and will be continuing only be affected by future “Quarterings.” The details are as follows:

  • In the $AVXT Token Farming method, 2 Gen1 Avaxtars will be locked into PAGMs to produce $AVXT Tokens.
  • Acceleration options will not be active in the $AVXT Token Farming method.
  • The amount of $AVXT Tokens that will be generated at the end of the $AVXT Token Farming process will be directly correlate with the rarity of Gen1 Avaxtars that have been locked into PAGM. The $AVXT Token earning amounts for different Gen1 Avaxtar pairs are as shown in the table below:

  • The amount of time Gen1 Avaxtars must remain locked in PAGM for the $AVXT Token Farming process to complete will vary based on the rarity of Gen1 Avaxtar pairs. Below is the Table of Amount of Required Days based on rarity pairs:

With this methodological change, we foresee the stabilization of the asset economy in the Quantnet. Yet we want to create value for everyone. So the change continues.

6.2. Burning the Past for a Bright Future: Burning Phase

With the “Burning Phase” which will begin on January 4, 2023, the production of Gen2 Avaxtars with the Avaxtar Farming method will come to an end. With the beginning of “Burning Phase,” only $AVXT Token Farming can be done with Gen1 Avaxtars within PAGMs. In other words, the combination of 2 Gen1 Avaxtars and PAGM used to produce Gen2 Avaxtars will no longer be able to produce Gen2 Avaxtars.

But how do we produce Gen2 Avaxtars, then?

With the beginning of the “Burning Phase”, the only way to produce a Gen2 Avaxtar will be burning a Gen1 Avaxtar which has the same rarity of the intended Gen2 Avaxtar. Since there are only 10 000 Gen1 Avaxtars and this process takes the burned Gen1 Avaxtar out of circulation forever, we can say that a maximum supply cap will be set for Gen2 Avaxtars as soon as the “Burning Phase” begins. Since this method will also determine the maximum number of players that can be simultaneously present on Quantnet, let’s dive deep into the details so you don’t get left out:

  • The feature known as Avaxtar Farming, which allows 2 Gen1 Avaxtars to be locked into a PAGM to produce Gen2 Avaxtars, will expire on January 4, 2023.
  • The feature introduced above as $AVXT Token Farming, which allows 2 Gen1 Avaxtars to be locked into a PAGM to generate $AVXT Tokens, will continue.
  • It will be entirely up to the free will of the user to generate $AVXT Tokens using Gen1 Avaxtars or to produce Gen2 Avaxtars by burning Gen1 Avaxtars.
  • Burning a Gen1 Avaxtar will produce 50 Gen2 Avaxtars of the same rarity as the burned Gen1 Avaxtar as soon as the burn occurs. In example:

Burning a Common Gen1 Avaxtar will produce 50 Common Gen2 Avaxtars immediately.
Burning a Uncommon Gen1 Avaxtar will produce 50 Uncommon Gen2 Avaxtars immediately.
Burning a Rare Gen1 Avaxtar will produce 50 Rare Gen2 Avaxtars immediately.
Burning a Epic Gen1 Avaxtar will produce 50 Epic Gen2 Avaxtars immediately.
Burning a Legend Gen1 Avaxtar will produce 50 Legend Gen2 Avaxtars immediately.

  • Burned Gen1 Avaxtar will be taken out of circulation. Forever.
  • Burning a Gen1 Avaxtar won’t generate any additional $AVXT Token.
  • Users will still be able to use their PAGMs for $DGC Token Farming.
