Dear Avaxtars Community,
Unfortunately, at around 20:00 PM on 07.01.2022, a temporary AVXT Token leak occurred due to a bug on the Backend and it was determined that a cyber attacker withdrew 56,000 AVXT from the pool to his own account by repeatedly withdrawing the same balance. The attacker liquidated all of them in a short span of time.
After determining the nature of the bug , permanent solution has been implemented by the technical team in a short time. To prevent the deterioration of the game dynamics, all the lost 56,000 AVXT will be taken from the Developer Fund and will be transferred to the Prize Pool.
On the other hand, we purchased AVXT Tokens from the market considering that the organic grow of AVXT Token’s price stability has been disrupted by the sale of stolen funds (the transaction amount will never be specified to avoid manipulative / speculative action).
The acquired AVXT Tokens will be used to provide liquidity to the DEXs whose priority will be determined in the future, to increase the transaction liquidity regarding the assets of the Avaxtars ecosystem.
Due to the fluctuation in the AVXT Token price, all game asset sales with AVXT Token listed on the game market have been cancelled. Those who wish, can re-price the game assets and list them for sale.
We have sufficient evidence including the IP address, e-mail address, wallet address, and accordingly the deposit address on Binance to initiate legal action against the cyber attacker.
From day one, the Avaxtars team has been committed to the development of the Avaxtars initiative and the growth of our community, with the attitude of adhering to the non-anonymous team structure and roadmap. Although these do not alleviate the sadness of the incident, due to the nature of the digital world we have no doubt that we will overcome these difficulties together with our community and we will continue to grow much stronger.
As the Avaxtars team, we will continue to own and develop our project without slowing down, even more determinedly.
